PawsUp is a screen-time wellbeing app for Android. When you have been using a chosen app for too long, a cat comes to sit with you on your screen for a short break.
This privacy policy explains how PawsUp handles your data — which, to put it plainly, is: it doesn't. Everything stays on your device.

PawsUp does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no backend servers, and no analytics SDK of any kind.
Everything the app knows about you — which apps you watch, how long your sessions are, how many times you pet the cat — lives exclusively on your device and is never sent anywhere.
PawsUp requests three permissions. Here is exactly what each one is used for and why it never leaves your phone.
App Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)
PawsUp needs to know which app is currently open on your screen so it can detect when you have been using a watched app past your chosen time limit. This information is read locally, processed locally, and discarded. It is never stored to a file, never transmitted over the network, and never accessible to anyone other than the app running on your device.
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)
PawsUp needs permission to show the cat on top of whatever app you are using when a break begins. Without this, the cat cannot appear over your screen. No data is involved — this permission only controls what can be drawn on your display.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
PawsUp shows a small, silent, persistent notification while it is monitoring in the background. This notification is required by Android for any app running a foreground service. You can hide it in your device notification settings after setup. No notification content is sent to any server.
PawsUp offers optional premium cat subscriptions. All payments are processed entirely by Google Play. PawsUp never sees, receives, or stores your payment details, billing address, or any financial information. For questions about billing, refunds, or subscription management, please use the Google Play subscription centre.
PawsUp is rated Everyone on Google Play and is suitable for ages 13 and over. The app does not collect any data from any user regardless of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — in fact, we do not collect personal information from anyone at all.
Because PawsUp stores nothing on any server, there is nothing to delete on our end. All app data (your settings, break history, and preferences) is stored locally on your device inside the app's private storage. You can delete it completely at any time by uninstalling the app.
PawsUp uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services. The only third-party integration is Google Play Billing, which handles subscription purchases and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
